Cancellation Policies

Cooling Off Period

A 48-hour cooling-off period applies from the time the holding deposit is paid, or until the tenancy agreement commences, whichever occurs first. During the cooling-off period, bookings may be cancelled by providing written notice to the property. The holding deposit will be refunded in full upon submission of the required Refund Form.

Early termination by students

A tenant who has signed an Occupancy Agreement but has not yet moved in may withdraw from the agreement. A cancellation fee equivalent to one week's bond will be forfeited. Once the tenancy agreement has been executed or occupancy has commenced, separate tenancy agreement terms will apply for any cancellation or early termination.

Other cancellation policies

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to The Mysa House leasing team. Verbal cancellation requests are not accepted. Refund requests must be submitted using the property's Refund Form. Approved refunds will be processed via bank transfer or another method determined by the property within the timeframe required under applicable law, or within a reasonable period if no statutory timeframe applies.
